"The Haven"
Family is like a haven, when the tempests of life are battering us and the waves come crashing in, over and over again, the family is a buffer. A refuge where one can feel safe and secure, loved and important throughout the storms. A place where others share our joys and achievements. A place to belong.
Thank you for the haven you have made for us.

In August 2004, my father turned eighty. We celebrated this milestone with a "Family Camp". Around sixty children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and in laws spent a weekend at a Retreat venue. It was a wonderful thing to share with our nearest and dearest and to celebrate the dynasty which Dad and Mum had begun.
The place we stayed was aptly named "The Haven".
